Channel Testing
Here is a document to assist with all testing scenarios
Testing - Retrieve Configurations (/configurations)
Step 1: Connect to Resly Channel
- Log in to Resly.
- Click on your property name in the top-right corner (dropdown arrow).
- Select Resly Connect.
- Click on Channel Mapping.
- Select the name of your channel. (TODO: Confirm exact name/path)
- Click New Account.
- Enter the following credentials to connect your account:
- Channel Account ID
- Click Save.
- Resly will begin retrieving all room types and rate plans linked to your account.
Note: This may take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on setup.
- Once complete, you should see a list of room types and rate plans grouped accordingly.
Step 2: Map Room Types
- Click on Mapping.
- Select Map Room Type Plan.
- Under the “Channel” section, choose:
- Channel Name
- Room Type (to be mapped to Resly’s room type)
Step 3 : Map Rate Plans
- After mapping a room type, click Map Rate Plan.
- Under the “Channel” section, select:
- Channel Name
- Room Type
- Rate Plan
- Map these to the corresponding Resly Room Type and Rate Plan.
Once room types and rate plans are mapped, you’re ready to move on to Testing Updates.
Testing Updates
- Navigate to Calendar View from the primary navigation on the left.
- Locate the mapped room type.
Testing Room block
- Select a date for the mapped room type in the calendar.
- Block the room for the desired period.
- This should update availability to 0, and the change should be received on your end.
Testing Rate plans
- Navigate to Reservations in the primary navigation.
- Click on Rate Plans.
- Locate the mapped room type.
- Update the price.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update with the new rate.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
Testing Stop Sell
- Click on Stop Sell in the sub-navigation above the Rate Plans table.
- Select the rate plan to stop sell.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
Testing CTA (closed to arrival)
- Click on CTA in the sub-navigation.
- Select the applicable rate plan.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
Testing CTD (closed to departure)
- Click on CTD in the sub-navigation.
- Select the applicable rate plan.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
Testing Min Stay
- Click on Min Stay in the sub-navigation.
- Select the rate plan.
- Enter the minimum stay value.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
Testing Max Stay
- Click on Max Stay in the sub-navigation.
- Select the rate plan.
- Enter the maximum stay value.
- Click Save.
- You should receive an update.
Updates may take up to 2 minutes.
