A Service Item represents a product, service, or experience attached to a reservation.
Every service item is always linked to a reservation and describes something the guest has booked as part of their stay or trip.
Examples of service items include:
- Accommodation
- Restaurant dinner
- Airport transfer
- Spa treatment
- Tour or activity
- Equipment hire
- Additional cleaning
- Late checkout
A reservation can contain one or many service items. For example, a reservation may include an accommodation service for three nights, a restaurant booking on the second night, and an airport transfer on departure.
Service items allow these individual components to be managed independently while remaining associated with the same reservation.
